Ernie and Earl Cate, The Cate Brothers, have been writing and performing their unique style of rock and soul music for more than 40 years. Two singles released in the '70's made the charts and led to performances on American Bandstand, Midnight Special, and Austin City Limits as well as television programs in Canada and Europe. The Cate Brothers have performed with such acclaimed artists as Queen, Fleetwood Mac, The Beach Boys, and Boz Scaggs. In 1992, The Cate Brothers Band was invited to perform for the Presidential Inaugural Ball, "The Blue-Jean Bash" where they performed with Bob Dylan and Steven Stills, among many others. Their most recent album is titled “Play By The Rules.” The Cate Brothers, through many years of writing and performing, have developed a sound that is truly their own, both soulful and unique.
