Teeny Tucker Band

Columbus, Ohio

Born into Blues royalty, Teeny Tucker is the daughter of Tommy Tucker, blues singer and pianist best known for the 1964 hit song, "High Heel Sneakers", that went to number 11 on the Billboard top 100.  Teeny Tucker is a big voiced blues singer/songwriter on a meteoric climb into the ranks of all time great women blues artists.  Tucker’s huge, gospel inflected vocals (she got her start in the church) have been wowing her fans for years.  Teeny wrote 8 of the 11 songs on “First Class Woman,” her 2nd CD,   Her most recent CD, “Two Big M’s,” available from CD Baby, is a tribute to two great and talented blues giants of the past, Big Momma Thornton and Big Maybelle.  Bruce Igluaer of Aligator Records says Teeny is “One of the outstanding up-and-coming female Blues artists on the scene today.”  And Blues Review Magazine said,” Teeny satisfies on all accounts. Killer Band, superior sound, impressive songs and a singer with pipes, taste, and control”
